The Game and Monica’s Steamy ‘Letters’ Video Sends Internet Into Frenzy
The Game and Monica
The Game and Monica have gotten up close and personal in the legendary R&B singer’s new video for “Letter,” and fans can’t contain themselves.
In the Richard Selvi-directed visual, which dropped on Friday (June 30), both artists are seen getting cozy in a variety of settings, including in a bathtub where the Compton rapper holds and caresses the Southern songstress under a sea of bubbles.

Lyrics-wise, it appears Monica is singing about her former lover, Corey “C-Murder” Miller, who is currently serving a life sentence for the alleged 2002 murder of 16-year-old Steve Thomas.
“Writing you this letter, tell my wish that you could hold me/ Penned you a letter ’cause with you I got no worries/ Things that you do, it always hit and make my soul shake/ I try not to but I often think/ Finally found my soulmate,” she sings on the slow-winding track.

Prior to the video’s release, both Monica and The Game shared snippets of it on their respective Instagram pages. After the “Angel of Mine” singer posted a clip of the bathtub scene with her and Game, her fans, fellow celebrities and even her own son couldn’t hold back their earnest feelings about what they saw.
“Yo what is this,” commented her 15-year-old son Romelo, whose father is the Atlanta rapper Rocko. Monica replied by saying: “SON… It’s like a movie!! Momma at work [crying face emoji].”
One of Monica’s best friends Toya Johnson wrote: “We ready sis [fire emoji],” while Twista said: “Give sis her flowers NOW!!!”
Once The Game uploaded a carousel of sultry images of him and Monica from the visual, the fan-fare continued in his comments sections. The former G-Unit signee himself kicked off the shenanigans himself by captioning his post: “They said ‘Make it make sense’…. I said ‘No problem.’”
